Dr. Pat Ford serves as a Church Consultant for LifeWay Christian Resources of Nashville, Tennessee. In this role Pat serves as a ministry specialist in Texas assisting ministry leaders toward more effectively impacting their worlds for Christ.

EDUCATION
Pat attended Paris Junior College and Baylor University where in 1978 he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He then studied at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary completing a Master of Religious Education degree in 1980 followed by further theological studies. He did doctoral work in Higher Education at North Texas State University and in 1989 earned a Doctor of Education degree from Southwestern Seminary in Church and Education Administration.

MINISTRY & ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
Prior to coming to LifeWay in July 2007, Pat served as a Youth Minister for ten years and then as a Minister of Education for twenty-five years in notable churches such as First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Rehoboth Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia; First Baptist Church of Midland, Texas; and North Phoenix Baptist Church of Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, he has served as an Adjunct Professor in Christian Education and Leadership at Grand Canyon and Wayland Baptist Universities and as a Field Supervisor for master and doctoral students at Southwestern, Southeastern, Golden Gate, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminaries as well as Rockbridge Seminary. He also has authored numerous publications and is a frequent conference leader.

PERSONAL
Pat and his wife, Jeanie, are both native Texans and currently live in the Austin, Texas area. They have been married since 1982 and have two young adult daughters. Pat enjoys hunting, fishing, baseball, tennis, tropical fish, photography, and tinkering with old Volkswagens.
